Range of cut flowers classic

The range of cut hydrangeas consists of 'Fresh' and 'Classic' varieties. 'Fresh' refers to the fresh colours such as white, green, pink, blue and purple. If the hydrangea has gone through its colour change, we call it 'Classic'. Cut-flower Hydrangeas are available year round, with the best offer during the months of May to November. After changing colour, the 'classic' flowers are available from June to the end of February.

Colours

kleuren

Hydrangea cut flowers come in a huge range of colours including every shade of red, pink and purple as well as in white, green and blue. There are also colour combinations such as green and red, purple and green and flowers with different coloured margins. Cutting the stems stops the colour changing process. The grower decides the colour at the moment he cuts the flowers. Hydrangeas’ colour-changing flowers are unique. During flowering the flowers change colour. Their original colour blends with various shades of green. Once they have completed their colour change, they end up an autumnal red.

Spectacular stem length

Some cut flower Hydrangeas have a stem length of 30 to 50 cm. The most spectacular specimens have a stem length of 80 cm and more. Therefore you can easily create a high or low eye catcher in your home.

Tip of the day

Unique to Hydrangeas is the evolving colours of the flowers. During bloom the flowers change colours. Their original colour mixes with green tints in various tones.

Tip of the day

Cut flower Hydrangeas are cut in different stages of growth. The more advanced the flower colour changing, the more durable. A fully grown, colour changed flower that feels hard and firm, can stand in a vase beautifully for up to 3 weeks.

Tip of the day

Fruit produce gas which make Hydrangea flowers age soon. Therefore do not put the flower vase too close to the fruit basket.
